Dr. F. Susan Wong is Professor of Experimental Diabetes and Metabolism at Cardiff University and Honorary Consultant Physician in Diabetes at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. She obtained her MBBS and PhD from Kings College London, and did the postdoctoral training at Yale University. She is Fellow of Royal Colleges of Physicians, Associate Editor of Diabetologia, member of the Type 1 Diabetes UK Consortium management board, and was Deputy Chair of the Clinical Studies Group I (Pathogenesis of diabetes) of Diabetes UK. She has published more than 200 papers, including Nature medicine, Nature Reviews Endocrinology.
